Pulse Rewiring

We understand you probably have a lot of questions and in our many years experience the same questions come up time and again.

So, we’ve put together this handy FAQ section for you but if your question isn’t listed, don’t hesitate to contact us.

Things To Look For

The bulbs in many rooms may dim or flicker, but you should only be concerned about bulbs that are flickering or dimming in several rooms. When a single light bulb flickers, the bulb needs to be changed. If this is persistent, it could be a sign you need a home rewire.

A nasty burnt smell might persist after your electrics have been turned off at the mains. If you notice an unfamiliar smell, contact an experienced electrician.

It can be assumed that partial wiring has taken place when you see that some rooms have new switches and sockets compared with others. If you plan to buy an old house and notice that some rooms have new switches and sockets while others do not, this may indicate that part of the electrical wiring has been replaced. The first possibility is that the homeowners added or renovated an extension or portion of the house. If you want to test the older electrical wiring, you should contact us as soon as possible.

Your fuse box might be malfunctioning if it keeps tripping. You might need to rewire your home or replace your fuse box. If you want us to assist, contact us right away.
